Kate Kleynhans is a Principal Researcher at Jack Hammer, bringing seven years of recruitment and executive search experience across both internal talent acquisition and external search. She’s a registered Industrial and Organisational Psychologist, a Leadership Development Coach, and an Enneagram Practitioner, with a Master’s dissertation on value alignment as a predictor of organisational commitment among Millennials in the South African retail industry. Before Jack Hammer, she worked at Heidrick & Struggles and, prior to that, internally at The Foshini Group (TFG).
She focuses on C-suite and exco-level searches in supply chain and logistics, manufacturing, and human capital roles, primarily across South Africa with some exposure to the rest of Africa and the Middle East. Kate brings a psychologist’s eye to executive search – as invested in whether a leader will thrive in a business as in whether they can do the job.
