Barbara is a global headhunter with the African continent’s largest executive search firm. She has spent her career constantly seeking to perfect her craft and is recognised as the go-to person for challenging leadership roles across all industry sectors and multiple geographies. The more obscure the better!

She thrives on digging deep to find those rare gems who enhance clients’ productivity and brands, is fulfilled by catalysing careers and is still excited by finding “the one”!

Barbara has recently successfully concluded two projects that identified the leadership teams to accelerate financial inclusion on the African continent for two of the world’s most impactful philanthropic organisations. She regards this as the pinnacle of her career – until the next challenge comes along, of course!

Despite having chased and made her dream of living a quiet rural life on the beautiful Garden Route of South Africa a reality, she could not turn down an opportunity to continue her adventures in the United Kingdom. She now lives and works on the outskirts of a town close enough to the charming English countryside (and to the cultural wonders of London), yet still allows her to continue her work in South Africa, the rest of the African continent and globally – work that inspires and feeds her soul.
